We are social entrepreneurs and advocates for “Sustainable Balanced Living.” Created by Sondra Kellogg, Liliana Proano, and Sandra Olaya, Solutions for Economic Expansion (SEE) began as an idea in 2012 and has flourished to a legal 501 (c)(3) charity in NY.
With more than 9 years experience in management and development in the non-profit affordable housing industry, Sondra (left in the picture) is a member of the Board of Directors who pioneered SEE’s inception and legal transparency in NY. Her dedication and guidance towards projects and team members is a strong asset to the organisation’s present and long term success. Her vibrant managerial style keeps work impeccable and coherent to SEE’s mission and vision.
Liliana (center in the picture) is SEE’s Executive Director and “on the ground” expert connecting with projects and clients. Since moving to Spain she has witnessed first hand the impact of the financial crises of 2008 that has resulted in alarming unemployment rates (25-19%), social and economic instability and limited sources of funding available for social entrepreneurs and organisations alike. Her professional expertise include banking and development work in NY, Mexico, Guatemala and now Spain. Her studies in the areas of Economic Development, Sustainability and Fundraising are the strong bone for overall project success.
An entrepreneur by nature, a committed and compassionate leader Sandra is SEE’s Board of Director’s Chair. Her creativity and confidence has helped SEE to establish itself and to assure its success. She oversees the Board of Directors which consists of qualified professionals from financial and non- profit fields and serves as the liaison between the Executive Director and the Board of Directors. In addition to the Board of Directors, SEE is also supported by an Advisory Board consisting of professionals from the US and Spain that have skills and expertise in sustainability, social investments, fundraising and non-profit work.
Together this solid TEAM of experts are committed to fulfilling SEE’s Mission “To stimulate job creation through the development of local community revitalisation projects” and SEE’s Vision “To create a society that embraces community development and education as a source for sustainable balanced living.”
